Synopsis "Immersed in Sai"

Saimay is a heartfelt devotional work by Shobha Bansal, written for anyone who longs for peace, direction, and a deeper connection with the Divine through the grace of Shirdi Sai Baba.Drawing on the Bhagavad Gita, the verses of Sant Kabir, and the teachings of Lord Dattatreya, the author reflects on the Guru as an ocean of wisdom, the one who calms a restless mind and leads us beyond the illusion (maya) of worldly life. She recalls how Sai Baba lived in constant remembrance of God, never truly asleep to the Divine, and how he still stands beside his devotees in one form or another.Through simple, sincere reflections, the book reminds us that family ties and worldly pursuits are like travellers meeting briefly at a roadside well, while devotion, chanting of the Divine Name, and prayer endure forever. It gently encourages readers to fulfil their worldly duties without losing themselves in them, and to make Sai Baba the charioteer of their lives, just as Arjuna trusted Shri Krishna.Born from a lifetime of faith and now available in English, Saimay is a companion for daily reading, reflection, and prayer, and a meaningful gift for every Sai devotee.Om Sai Sharanam Namami.
