Synopsis "Jean-Arthur Rimbaud Le Poete (1854-1873) (in French)"

Loue ou decrie, le Rimbaud publie en 1912 par Paterne Berrichon est un livre celebre. Malheureusement devenu introuvable, sa reedition s'imposait, mais une reedition controlee: Pierre Brunet, refusant les rejets trop faciles, a cherche a mettre en valeur la ferveur du " beau-frere posthume " sans abonder dans le sens de ses exces. Un appareil de notes permet e rectifier erreurs et distorsions. Une idee principale se degage, celle de la divinite du poete, represente comme un " dieu en haillons " en cela Berrichon proposait une image sensiblement differente du Rimbaud trop catholique d'Isabelle Rimbaud, qu'il avait epousee en 1897, et de l'idee d'un " mystique a l'etat sauvage " inscrite par Claudel en tete de l'edition que Paterne publiait la meme annee.
