The critical examination in this book does not question the theology of salvation; the aim is to purge the American church, through "the washing of water by the word" (Ep5:26), from leavened teachings and traditions of men that are preventing American believers from having a Christlike relationship with the rest of humankind. This purging will empower us to fulfill the purpose of our calling, which it to proclaim the gospel of the kingdom in the world, as a witness to all nations.
