Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) was a German philosopher and one of the most influential figures in modern philosophy. His thinking laid the foundations of transcendental idealism, focused on the relationship between experience and reason. Among his most important works is Critique of Pure Reason (1781), where he analyzes the limits of human knowledge.
