Pablo d'Ors (Madrid, July 1, 1963) is a Catholic priest and Spanish writer

Pablo d'Ors was born in Madrid in 1963, into a family of artists, and was raised in a German cultural environment. He is the grandson of the essayist and art critic Eugenio d'Ors, son of Juan Pablo d’Ors Pérez-Peix, a humanist doctor, and María Luisa Führer. He is a disciple of the monk and theologian Elmar Salmann.2

After graduating in New York and studying Philosophy and Theology in Rome, Prague, and Vienna—where he specialized in German studies—he earned his doctorate in Rome in 1996,2 under the guidance of his mentor Elmar Salmann, with a thesis titled "Theopoetics: Theology of the Literary Experience". He was ordained a priest in 1991,2 and assigned to the Claretian mission in Honduras, where he carried out evangelizing and social work.

Back in Spain, he combined his pastoral work—as a parochial coadjutor initially and as a university and hospital chaplain later—with teaching as a professor of Dramaturgy and Theological Aesthetics at various higher education centers in Spain and Argentina. After meeting Jesuit Franz Jalics, in 2014 he founded the association "Friends of the Desert", aimed at deepening and spreading the contemplative dimension of Christian life. Shortly thereafter, he was appointed advisor to the Pontifical Council for Culture by express designation of Pope Francis.
