Joe Hill, cuyo nombre real es Joseph Hillström King, nació el 4 de junio de 1972 en Bangor, Maine (Estados Unidos). Es hijo de los también autores Stephen King y Tabitha King, aunque adoptó un seudónimo para forjar su propia identidad literaria. Su obra se enmarca principalmente en el género del terror, la fantasía oscura y la ciencia ficción.

Hill debutó con la colección de cuentos 20th Century Ghosts en 2005, que le valió diversos premios. Su primera novela, Heart‑Shaped Box (2007), alcanzó el éxito y lo catapultó a la lista de los más vendidos. Brian K. Vaughan is an acclaimed comic book and television screenwriter, born on July 17, 1976, in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He began his career in the 1990s writing for major publishers Marvel and DC Comics, but gained prominence with his original works, which combine engaging storytelling, social themes, and complex world-building.

Among his most famous works is Y: The Last Man (2002–2008), a post-apocalyptic series about the last surviving man after a mysterious plague. Another big hit is Saga (since 2012), created with artist Fiona Staples, a science fiction and fantasy epic that has won numerous awards and gained great popularity. He also wrote Paper Girls (2015–2019), which mixes youth adventure with science fiction, and Ex Machina (2004–2010), a political critique set in a universe with superpowers.

In addition to comics, Vaughan has worked as a television screenwriter, including the series Lost. Gabriel Rodríguez (Santiago de Chile, 26 de mayo de 1974) es un ilustrador, arquitecto e historietista chileno, reconocido internacionalmente por ser el dibujante y cocreador de la serie de cómics Locke & Key junto al escritor Joe Hill.

Desde pequeño mostró interés por el dibujo y creció leyendo historietas como Astérix, Las aventuras de Tintín y Mampato. Más adelante se influenció por autores como Moebius, Alan Moore, Frank Miller y Alejandro Jodorowsky.

Rodríguez estudió Arquitectura en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, donde obtuvo también un magíster. Debido al pequeño mercado del cómic en Chile, durante varios años combinó su trabajo como arquitecto con proyectos de ilustración y narrativa gráfica. Entre sus primeros trabajos destacados estuvo la ilustración del juego de cartas chileno Mitos y Leyendas.

Su salto a la fama internacional llegó en 2008 con Locke & Key, publicada por IDW Publishing. La obra mezcla horror, fantasía y drama familiar, y fue ampliamente elogiada por su narrativa visual y diseño artístico. La serie recibió múltiples nominaciones a los premios Eisner y ganó reconocimiento como una de las novelas gráficas más influyentes del género en los últimos años.

Además de Locke & Key, Gabriel Rodríguez ha trabajado en títulos como Little Nemo: Return to Slumberland, CSI y colaboraciones relacionadas con The Sandman Universe.
