Buenos Aires, 2001. When Vilma passes away, few friends and relatives care to attend her funeral. Se recibió de diseñadora textil en la Universidad de Buenos Aires en el año 2010.

Como ilustradora infantil e historietista se formó de manera autodidacta o cursando seminarios cortos. Durante la primera parte de su carrera se dedicó a ilustrar libros para diferentes editoriales del mundo mientras hacía webcomics de forma independiente. En el año 2015 su primer libro de historietas "La pelusa de los días" fue editado en España.

Formó parte del colectivo latinoamericano Historietas Reales y del colectivo internacional Chicks on Comics y es miembro fundadora del colectivo Línea Peluda.

Dio clases de ilustración, ilustración digital, bordado, tejido, narrativa cromática, historieta y tira diaria. Actualmente se desempaña como docente de narrativa cromática en la plataforma online Domestika.

En el año 2019 ganó del premio FNAC-Salamandra con su proyecto de novela gráfica "Naftalina". Más tarde ese mismo libro sería premiado con el Fauve Prix Public France TV durante el festival de Angoulême 2023. Además recibiría el premio Boule d'or del Festival Viñetas de Poitiers y el Prix Lyceen del festival Colomiers.

Fue residente en La Maison des Auteurs en Angoulême, Francia, en Casa Tres Patios, en Medellín, Colombia, y en el LCB de Berlín, en Alemania.

Sole se encuentra constantemente trabajando en nuevos proyectos que van desde novelas gráficas, a historietas para chicos, pasando por cursos online y libros álbum.
