Synopsis "Muffy & Valor: A True Dog Story"

"A touching, easy-to-read children's story...based on an actual event pertaining to the author's own dog." - Stevie Turner, writer Discover this sweet nonfiction picture book with a Hispanic family that teaches compassion, friendship, trust, and courage (for kids ages 5 - 8, kindergarten - third grade, ESL/ELL/ESOL, especially for children with a fear of dogs). Muffy is a little dog who loves people; but after a painful injury she is wary of other dogs. Valor is a lost German Shepherd who gets hit by a car. When Muffy's family brings Valor to their home to recover, no one is sure how Muff will react to this big strange dog.
