Synopsis "Never Trust Guys in Black Capes"

Twelve year-old Lily Aden's life was struck with tragedy at the death of her mother when Lily was only one year old. Lily accepted it and tried to grow up without a mother, but deep down, she always knew there was something a bit peculiar about the circumstances surrounding her mother's death. When an unfortunate turn of events causes Lily to find out she has magical powers, she is immediately whisked away to a school for magicians called Lithoress. There, Lily begins to realize what grave danger she is in. A powerful magician named Ellon has an unexplained hatred for her and will go to any measure to ensure Lily doesn't leave Lithoress alive. In trying to defeat him, Lily discovers the reason behind her childhood of lies, the cause of her mother's death, and why Ellon is so hungry for revenge. She discovers the answers to all of these questions are tangled up in one single secret. A secret that is both wonderful and terrible. A secret that may be her only hope for survival.
