Synopsis "Nursing the Wounds "

Dawn and Amanda are two nurses with an extraordinary story. Seventeen years prior to working together, they crossed paths at a backyard Bible club in rural Mississippi in the summer of 1999. Amanda was a nine-year-old girl who had been raised in an atheist home. Dawn was a teenage volunteer with her church-a church that chose to bring God into the community. Years later, they would find each other again in their chosen career in a different town, with a similar story as survivors of sexual abuse and a similar desire to one day tell the world. God had the plan that would bring it all together. Dawn and Amanda are Christians, mothers, wives, daughters, nurses, and advocates. Together they have co-founded Voice for the Silenced, LLC, and are working together to establish a Child Advocacy Center in their community.
