Julie Murphy es una destacada escritora estadounidense especializada en literatura juvenil y narrativa contemporánea. Nació el 8 de noviembre de 1985 y comenzó su carrera literaria tras trabajar como bibliotecaria en Texas, experiencia que inspiró su primera novela, escrita durante el reto de escritura NaNoWriMo.
