Synopsis "Path of the Golden Arrow"

The only thing Meling Wu wanted in life was to walk the path of the Golden Arrow . . . a path that may very well cost her her life, for at the end awaited four Master Samurai swordsmen willing to kill, or die, to protect the golden arrow offered by Buddha. As luck would have it she is ordered to America by her father, the current Golden Arrow of the Sholin Temple, to discover what is becoming of the gold from his best friend's gold mine. During her quest she meets Taddius Jacobs, known as Tad, the son of the owner of the Golden Lady Mine. Together they track down the thieves and in the process fall in love. However, with her mission completed and carrying Tad's child inside her body, she returns to Southeast Asia to complete her own mission . . . walk The path of The Golden Arrow - and either die, or live to fulfill her destiny. As she walks the path and carries her secret she vows her eternal love for Taddius Jacobs . . . Unknown to Meling, Tad has followed her with a gift of his own: a solid gold statue of a cowboy offering up his hands to heaven upon which to hold the golden arrow he believes, prays, she will win . . .
