Olivier Clément (1921–2009) was a French theologian and writer, converted to Orthodox Christianity at thirty after a deep spiritual search influenced by authors like Dostoevsky and Berdiaev. Professor at the Saint-Serge Orthodox Theology Institute in Paris, he stood out for his commitment to ecumenical dialogue and his participation as a lay observer in the Second Vatican Council.
