According to historical facts, the journey should have only taken 11 days to travel from Egypt to Canaan to reach the promised land. When we take time for being still, it is acknowledging the goodness of being in God's rest. The book of Psalms contains many songs of praise that many people read daily for guidance. I invite you to read these prayers to help you create your own prayers. God love creative people! That is why God set aside the Levites as a special group of people responsible for music.
