Er ist leider heruntergekommen zu lustiger Blödelei und seichtem Gesinnungsspruch und sollte doch wieder das werden, was er immer gewesen ist: Philosophischer Gehalt in literarischer Gestalt, satirisches Zwerg-Rätsel oder paradoxes Erkenntnisspiel zwischen Gefühl und Gedanke, Bild und Begriff, Phantasie und Verstand, Einbildungskraft und Urteilskraft. Die ältesten Aphorismen waren einzelne Lehrsätze, die jüngeren sind doktrinäre Feinde von Doktrinen. Bis heute doktern sie an uns herum.
