María Xesús Froxán Parga is a tenured professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain) and accredited for chair. She holds a PhD in Psychology and specializes in Clinical Psychology. For years, she has been teaching courses on Functional Analysis of Behavior, Psychological Intervention Techniques, and Clinical Psychology. She directs the master's program in Behavior Modification at the Therapeutic Institute of Madrid, where she also conducts her clinical activities, which she combines with research and teaching. Her research focuses on the analysis of verbal behavior of the therapist and client that occurs during clinical interaction and has led, since 2007, several R&D research projects aimed at identifying the learning processes that take place during psychological therapy and are responsible for clinical change. She has published articles in various international journals, such as Behavior Therapy, Psychotherapy Research, Clinical Psychology & Psychotherapy, Psicothema, or Spanish Journal of Psychology and participated in hundreds of national and international conferences.
