Edie Sutton, an ex-cop, sacked from the Met for beating up a drug dealer, turned private eye, is offered 25,000 by the owner of a London casino to find his kidnapped son. The ransom demanded is a book detailing the drug deals going through the casino. The names of cops on the payroll. The names of prominent people being blackmailed for using the club's high class and expensive prostitutes, the names of cops on vice paid to look the other way and where and how they get their freebies, the names of planning officials who have accepted money, women, and holidays to push through applications for the owners property developments, and the location of where those that get in the way are buried. The money offered to Eddie is too high to turn down. But soon after one person is murdered and another abducted that might turn up dead. He realises that 25,000 may not after all, be a lot for this little caper because he is suddenly in a world of high octane people, big bucks, and criminal gangs that kill first and ask questions later. The action is fierce. The drama nail biting. The insight and detail in to organised prostitution, and his own sexual escapades with some of the women he meets in his investigation very, very, steamy. Can Eddie save the boy? Or will the kidnappers add another victim to their list and create an even greater domain for their sex and drug dealing business. This is a fast paced thriller. Exciting, funny and very, very sexy that will keep you guessing until the very end.
