Synopsis "Realm Walker book 1: Faith and Hope"

Eight months ago, Sebastian Fravel was in a car accident, leaving him unemployed, on disability, and soon-to-be homeless when his wife leaves him and files for divorce. To combat the loneliness and depression, he turns to a new online fantasy videogame called, Kissigea: Closing the Portal. The night he earns the game's platinum trophy for completion, Danelei Avaleen, the exiled elven Enchantress of the Nine Isles, uses an ancient relic to pull him into the real world of Kissigea. However, the relic is incomplete and Sebastian can only be in Kissigea when he is asleep and dreaming. Sebastian (whose avatar's name is Koleson) quickly realizes Kissigea is much more than just a videogame world but rather a whole realm that is as real as Earth, but much more deadly. Upon Danelei's death, Koleson partners with Lady Lyra Avaleen, former heir enchantress, and together they journey to the Nine Isles to close the Portal of the Realms before Kissigea, Earth, and all eight realms collide and perish forever. However there is one problem. For him to close the portal and save the Eight Realms, he must be in Kissigea, and the only way to do that is in his dreams.
