When Carter's Court in Franklin was still on the drawing board, the developers recognized the need for a place where ladies could come for lunch. When a turn-of-the-century house was moved there, people exclaimed, ""That's got to be a tearoom,"" and so it was. The restaurant moved to Green Hills in 1982, expanding to a full-service restaurant, and returning to Franklin in 1986 as Daisy's of Carter's Court.
