Synopsis "Secrets of the Past"

Riley Duncan receives a letter from a solicitor asking him to make an appointment, where he learns he has inherited a property in Wales from a relative he never even knew existed. On his way to visit it with wife Connie, he has an accident and is admitted to hospital, where he spends many weeks recuperating. Just before he leaves, another man, Martin Jennings, a small building contractor, is also admitted with a broken leg, and the two become friends. He tells Martin of his good fortune, and Martin offers to take a look at the place when he's back on his feet - but the news isn't good. The once grand manor house and its 20 acres of grounds have been derelict for many years and the house is just a burnt out shell. What Riley thought to be a godsend has turned into a white elephant and it's all his responsibility. He doesn't know which way to turn - until Martin comes up with a plan of his own - one that could make them both a great deal of money!
