This book offers a broad overview of the current research landscape where artificial intelligence techniques intersect with underlying silicon chip technology, highlighting how AI techniques are being harnessed to elevate the capabilities of silicon hardware. AI has great potential to revolutionize our lives, yet it also faces unique challenges in computing hardware, efficient computation and related power dissipation.
