The purpose of this work was to identify, analyse and describe the stylistic features in the 2011 and 2012 final matches' commentaries in the UEFA Champions League in order to ascertain the occupational linguistic variation. The analysis was basically stylistic using the tools of phonology, morphology, lexis and syntax. The use of the rhetorical feature - figures of speech, also constituted an aspect of the data analysis.
