Jim Lee, cuyo nombre completo es James Lee, es un dibujante, editor y ejecutivo surcoreano-estadounidense nacido en 1964. Se convirtió en una figura esencial del cómic norteamericano gracias a su estilo dinámico, anatómico y lleno de energía, que redefinió la estética de los superhéroes en los años 90. Comenzó en Alpha Flight y Punisher War Journal, pero su salto definitivo llegó con Uncanny X-Men, donde su trazo marcó una generación y lo convirtió en uno de los artistas más influyentes del medio.

Co-fundador de Image Comics, creó WildStorm y desarrolló títulos emblemáticos como WildC.A.T.s, antes de integrarse a DC Comics, donde más tarde se convirtió en Publisher y Director Creativo.
