Grant Morrison, born on January 31, 1960 in Glasgow, Scotland, is a renowned comic book writer, playwright, and producer. His style is characterized by non-linear narratives and the incorporation of countercultural themes in his works.
He is known for his innovative work in comics, from the graphic novel Batman: Arkham Asylum to the acclaimed series of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and X-Men, as well as his subversive creator-owned titles like The Invisibles, Seaguy, The Filth, and WE3.
On television, adaptations of his comic series Happy! for Syfy and Netflix and Aldous Huxley's Brave New World for Peacock have been developed. He is also the author of the New York Times bestseller Supergods. Morrison received an MBE for his services to film and literature.
Rags Morales es un destacado artista de cómics estadounidense, muy valorado por su trabajo tanto como dibujante como entintador. Nacido en Nueva York y de ascendencia puertorriqueña, creció en Nueva Jersey, donde descubrió en el arte una vía de expresión e identidad. Adoptó su famoso seudónimo “Rags” inspirado en un personaje de un libro que le habló sobre superación personal.
Su carrera profesional comenzó en 1989 al ilustrar la serie de fantasía Forgotten Realms para DC/TSR, marcando su debut con 19 números. Luego co-creó el Renacimiento de Black Condor. Tras colaborar con Valiant Comics en títulos como Turok, Archer & Armstrong y Geomancer, regresó a DC para plasmar su talento en series como Hourman, JSA y Hawkman. En esta última, consolidó una alianza creativa duradera con el entintador Michael Bair.
