In addition, the role of the participle in the tense system is included. Dieser dritte Band der Syntax der arabischen Schriftsprache der Gegenwart beschreibt zum ersten Mal die semantischen Profile der arabischen Verben und zeigt auf, wie das Tempussystem mit seinen zwei Grundformen, dem Perfekt und dem Imperfekt, sowohl aspektuelle als auch temporale Anforderungen erfullt.
