Benzothiazol-Derivate sind in der Industrie als Farbstoffe, Fotochemikalien und Sulfonamide von Bedeutung. Die Familie der Schwefel-Stickstoff-Heterocyclen umfasst hochstabile aromatische Verbindungen, die physikalisch-chemische Eigenschaften aufweisen, die für die Entwicklung neuer Materialien von Bedeutung sind, insbesondere für molekulare Leiter und Magnete. Benzothiazolderivate werden als Aromastoffe, Farbstoffe in der Lederindustrie, Vulkanisationsbeschleuniger für Gummi, Wachstumsregulatoren für Pflanzen, in der Polymer- und Gummiindustrie sowie als antibakterielle und antimykotische Mittel verwendet. Da Benzothiazolderivate verschiedene biologische Aktivitäten besitzen, haben wir in der vorliegenden Arbeit Benzothiazolderivate synthetisiert. Die antimikrobielle Aktivität der substituierten Benzothiazol-Derivate wurde in zwei Teilen durchgeführt, nämlich antibakterielle und antimykotische Aktivitäten. Die antimykotische Aktivität der substituierten Benzothiazol-Derivate wurde im Vergleich zu den antimykotischen Standardmedikamenten mit der Cup-Plate-Methode untersucht.
