Synopsis "Taxonomische Revision der Gattung Calomyscus (in German)"

Calomyscus ist eine der umstrittensten Nagetierarten, deren Artenzahl sich im Laufe der Jahre verändert hat. Sein Verbreitungsgebiet erstreckte sich bis nach Europa, während es heute auf Westasien beschränkt ist. Der taxonomische Rang von Calomyscus war lange Zeit unsicher, aber molekulare Marker haben seine taxonomische Position als eigenständige Familie an der Basis der Eumuroidea etabliert. Unsere Ergebnisse legen drei neue Arten und eine neue Unterart in dieser Gattung nahe und erweitern das bekannte Verbreitungsgebiet mehrerer Arten. Wir identifizierten und präsentierten einige morphometrische und geometrisch-morphometrische Merkmale zusammen mit Zytotyp-Merkmalen für Calomyscus-Arten. Au erdem wurden zwei mitochondriale Gene dieser Gattung sequenziert und in Genbank eingereicht.
