Synopsis "The Baltimore Boys "

The day of the tragedy. The end of a brotherhood.

The Baltimore Boys. The Goldman Gang. That was what they called Marcus Goldman and his cousins Woody and Hillel. Three brilliant young men with dazzling futures ahead of them, before their kingdom crumbled beneath the weight of lies, jealousy and betrayal. For years, Marcus has struggled with the burdens of his past, but now he must attempt to banish his demons and tell the true and astonishing story of the Baltimore Boys.

Joël Dicker (Geneva, Switzerland, 1985) is a Swiss writer in the French language who rose to international fame with La verdad sobre el caso Harry Quebert (2012), an editorial phenomenon translated into more than 30 languages that established him as a master of the literary thriller. Educated in Law at the University of Geneva after studying Playwriting in Paris, Dicker debuted with Los últimos días de nuestros padres (2010), but it was the Goncourt des Lycéens Prize and the Grand Prize of the French Academy for Harry Quebert that catapulted him to success. His narrative is characterized by ingenious twists, complex structures, and the creation of addictive suspense.
