The Beacon of Renewal - Collin Grégoire

I wake with numbness in every ounce of my body. My mind is lost in a fog seemingly too dense to escape. I know not who I am. I know not where I lie.

The darkness around me fills my heart with dread. I can feel the journey forward to be even darker still. Although I gravely lack awareness of myself and my environment, I can be sure that an unyielding flame within my chest urges me to go forward. To go forward and find my place in this world. To find my place beyond this world. I can feel it now. Along my travels I will face great foes. I will forge unbreakable bonds. These encounters will influence the trajectory of my journey, steering me to act as a pawn in diverging prospective futures.

When I stand above my previous endeavours, both the foundation and growth of my character will guide my hand to determine a fate much grander than my own. When I stand before an unwritten future, I will see the world's true face and meet its eyes.

I don't know who I am, but history will know my name by the end of my odyssey.
