Roy Thomas is an influential American comic book writer and editor, known for his work in the superhero industry, especially at Marvel Comics. Born in 1940, Thomas began his career in the 60s and stood out for his ability to adapt and expand classic characters. He succeeded Stan Lee as editor-in-chief at Marvel and helped solidify the publisher as one of the most important in the industry.

Among his most notable works are "Conan the Barbarian" (1970), "Avengers" (1966-1970), and "The Invaders" (1975). Additionally, he was one of the key figures in the creation of the character "Iron Fist" (1974). His impact on American comics remains significant, being recognized for his ability to integrate classical mythology and modern narrative into his stories.

Joseph “Joe” Kubert (1926-2012) fue un dibujante, escritor y editor estadounidense considerado una de las figuras más influyentes del cómic del siglo XX. Reconocido por su trazo expresivo y potente, dejó huella en personajes icónicos de DC Comics, entre ellos Hawkman, título en el que trabajó con gran consistencia durante las décadas de 1960 y 1970, y que más tarde se recopiló en ediciones como DC Finest: Hawkman. Su estilo vigoroso y dramático contribuyó a definir la estética visual de los superhéroes de la época.

Además de su producción como artista, Kubert fue fundador de la Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, institución dedicada a formar generaciones de ilustradores y narradores gráficos.
