Synopsis "The formation of the value of patriotism in university students"

The following research work has the objective of favoring the university formation of students of pedagogical careers in the patriotism value through Physical Education classes using Chess as a tool, using theoretical and empirical methods that favor the fulfillment of scientific tasks. The research shows how Chess classes are an important instrument in the axiological formation, and the use of Cuban figures who practiced the scientific sport contributes to favor the formation of the patriotism value in the future generations of Cuban professionals, the research also uses a set of games and extra-class work within the Chess class to highlight figures who gave their lives for the Homeland. The contribution of the research is the elaboration of a pedagogical alternative to favor the formation of the patriotism value in university students of pedagogical careers in Chess classes.
