Synopsis "The Girl Called Gyler. Book One-The Broken Gear"

Known to the world as "The Back Alley of Mizronda," the island nation of Ryonvale is a peaceful place. It is also the residence of the immortal hero, Lord Cosmos, the Hero of Ryonvale, a ten-thousand-year-old demi-god imbued long ago with the divine blood of the God-King Truniss. Cosmos has fought countless battle in his long life and eagerly shares the stories with his beloved daughter, a ten-year-old girl called Gyler. When a new enemy force appears that is marked by a strange broken gear emblem, Lord Cosmos takes up his blade and leaps at another chance for glory.

Young Gyler meanwhile dreams of being a hero too, just like her famous father. A scrawny kid with messy blonde hair and blue eyes, Gyler does not look very much the heroic type. Her brash behavior and sharp attitude are equally unheroic. Yet, beneath it all, within the young girl's chest there just might beat the heart of a true hero... if she can only prove herself, that is.

Is this unlikely little heroine truly destined to heal her broken world?
