The tools provide for limitless play back opportunities which can be used to help the learner learn to improvise and create their own variations. IT is a great way for a learner to practice jamming, or what we call "playing well with others." The Savage Fiddler Method is now finding a home in the public school curriculum, allowing teachers to access certain national standards of teaching music that may have felt too abstract to teach in a classroom and assess. Viola and cello arrangements of the method can also be ordered for use in the classroom. It is an exciting time for the string player who has a diverse body of skills and a demanding job for any teacher of these students. Our students may go on to play in an orchestra, but it is much more likely that they will find a place in a band, a recording studio, a jam circle or a behind a console.
