This cost Him Jesus, who died for us (John 3:16).If God can do all this to reach us, why will He make it difficult to get closer to Him? In James 4:8, the Bible affirms that if we come close to God, He will come close to us. This means that if we come close to Him as He has outlined in His Word, that is, through Jesus, He will come closer and dwell with us (Revelations 3:20). In fact, anytime we encounter anything that seems complicated, tedious, or challenging, there is a chance that the hand of God is not in it. In these cases, we should invite God in. Advancing to a phase of significant growth in God from salvation is a simple journey with the help of the Holy Spirit. The gift of the Holy Spirit, called the word of wisdom, is God's attempt to simplify complicated things. From the account of the Bible, every time humans expressed that the things of God were hard, God went above and beyond to make it very easy (Judges 6-8). For example, to become a child of God only requires a simple prayer. In the same way, to grow in God only requires simple steps. God is not out to get us so He can judge us; He is out to get us to have a closer relationship with Him.With the help of the Holy Spirit, this book provides light and insight from God.
