This is about the Chemical Attack on Halabja in March 1988 when over 70,000 Kurdish civilians caught up in Iran & Iraq war, when the Iranian forces occupied the Halabja town, and Saddam's regime bombed the town with WMD, over 5000 murdered and 10,000 wounded and the rest were made homeless and chased by the Iraqi air force to cross the border into Iran, as they were desperately trying to escape mass murder, as part of Saddam's campaigns of Kurdish Genocide in which over 200,000 Kurd were murdered, that was the worst campaign of ethnic cleansing in late twentieth century. Ali in this novel is a child who lost all his family members, was taken to Isfahan, East Persia, after 24 years he is coming back to the town and trying to find out who he is and what happened to all his family. This is an episode of the Halabja Story, 'A Few Days Life of Revolution in Halabja published in April 2015
