Synopsis "Tissue Culture and Transformation of Eggplant with Synthetic Gene"

This book described a basic technique of plant tissue culture of an eggplant and how it was made transgenic from the perspective of Plant Biotechnology. A fundamental approach was applied to detect the presence of this foreign DNA in eggplant tissue. The contents of the book were used as a teaching materials for the University students at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, Helsinki, Finland as part of ERASMUS+ project and shared by Ondokuz Mayis Universitesi, Turkey at the Faculty of Agriculture. The contents of the book were research materials conducted at the Biosciences Department, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Authors acknowledged FRGS awarded by the Malaysian Government to the previous researcher in UTM and The Scientific Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK), Program 2221 - Fellowships for Visiting Scientists-Grant No. 1059B211800242 and 2216- Research Fellowship Programme for International researcher-Grant No. 1059B161800031 for partly sponsoring this work.
