Tora Study Bible (TSB) is a modern American English rendition of The Five Books of Moses that conveys the meaning of the verses as explained by traditional commentators including Ramban, Rambam, Ibn Ezra, Rashbam, Siforno, and Rashe. Tora Study Bible is written to be appropriate for young readers as well. Each TSB chapter is one of the seven readings of each weekly Sabbath portion. Comprehensive informative headings summarize the content of upcoming verses. Each of the 613 commandments as defined by Rambam is indicated by a descriptive heading before the verse from which the commandment is derived. The Table of Contents list all the headings, including commandments, and can serve as an efficient way to familiarize oneself with the contents of each weekly portion. Study notes enhance the understanding of the verses on many levels. First, they state the sources on which the rendition is based.
