Synopsis "Two Words for Everything"

"Two words. Two worlds. Both are hers."Meet Amina, a girl with two words for absolutely everything - one for guri, one for home. She worries, just for a little while, that having two might mean she's two different girls. Then she teaches a friend to say hooyo, discovers guriga can follow her anywhere, and figures out that two languages were never something to hide.A warm, fun, bilingual English-Somali story, with nine real words tucked inside and a glossary at the back to practice them together.Perfect to share with six-to-eight-year-olds - and anyone raising a kid with two words for everything.Aqoon Publishing - stories in two languages, for kids who live in both.
