Michael David Baron, conocido profesionalmente como Mike Baron, es un guionista estadounidense nacido en 1949, reconocido por su extensa trayectoria en el mundo del cómic y la narrativa de aventuras. Se dio a conocer en la década de 1980 como co-creador del personaje Nexus, junto al dibujante Steve Rude, una serie de ciencia ficción que destacó por su mezcla de sátira política, acción y reflexiones morales. A lo largo de su carrera ha trabajado para las principales editoriales del cómic norteamericano, aportando historias dinámicas y personajes complejos dentro del género superheroico.
