Paul Beccaria, Franco-Italian author born and currently residing in Avignon (France) offers his first novel inspired by his numerous voyages to the city of Venice."A short and intense narrative, bringing together love, mystery and thrills, where each protag-onist slowly comes unraveled under the immediate charm and appeal of the Cité of Doges. Dave, a young American painter finishing his studies at the school of Fine Arts in Paris, makes the acquaintance of Lisa who is currently finished her thesis in archeology. Before their departure for Rome where Lisa is set to join a team at a dig-site, the couple makes a stop in Venice to follow in the footsteps of great painters and classical masters. Once they have arrived, the pair fall for the city's charms immediately. Torn between the passion he feels for his art and his love for Lisa, Dave is faced with a choice that will turn his life upside down.
