WILL SUTTON AND THE WIZARD'S CURSE is the first of an exciting new series of supernatural adventures for Young Adults, mixing laughs with chills and thrills in a non-stop roller-coaster ride. When orphaned Will Sutton moves across country to live with his mysterious Uncle Zachary, he becomes the pawn in a fiendish plot devised by a dead wizard to return from the grave. With his new friends Waldo Pepperidge, the brainiest kid in school, Lisa Goodwin, who's nearly as smart as Waldo (but also three times as athletic), and Zachary's supernaturally gifted cat Brimstone, Will must somehow thwart the dead sorcerer's curse if he would save both himself and his Uncle Zachary. However, courage and brains might not be enough. The wizard can call upon all the powers of darkness - including his patron demon, the legendary Jersey Devil. It's a daunting prospect for three children and a cat, even aided by the mysterious organization known only as HEX - composed of would-be wizards who have never successfully cast a spell in their lives . . .
