Busca enseñar lo esencial de los finales de ajedrez, evitando los tediosos estudios de un sinfín de posiciones raras y rebuscadas de los grandes tratados. Una alternativa a este libro (y en castellano) puede ser "El Final" de Miguel Czerniak (de la desaparecida Editorial Sopena Argentina)
