Synopsis "Wonderfully Made Wendy and the Powerhouse Prayer Group"

Wendy Madison is a spunky, full of life 9 year old girl who's excited about entering 4th grade. She has been reared in a family that exercises Christian values, and her parents have taught her about the importance and power of prayer. Because of this, Wendy has put together a group of friends who are fellow believers, and they call themselves the Powerhouse Prayer Group. The prayer group started in 2nd grade when they prayed to get rid of a mean teacher, and it continued in 3rd grade when they created a coalition to make sure that they didn't get a pet snake as a class pet. Now that they are in 4th grade, the PPG (as they call themselves) have a new classmate named Terrance, and he is standoffish and silent. The PPG can't have this, so they put together a mission to try to make him feel included as part of the class. Imagine their disappointment when the plan they put together fails, and Terrance responds to their kind gestures in a disturbing way. Follow the antics of the very intelligent and independent "Wonderfully Made Wendy" as she puts her faith into action and learns that things don't always turn out the way we want them to, but GOD does know what's best, and he's always listening and working things out.
