Yusuf Nazim is a well-known and popular humorist in Urdu literature. He started his literary life through ghazals and poems, later his writings were devoted to the field of humor & satire. He wrote hundreds of satirical essays, humorous light essays and fictions which were compiled into more than thirty books. In this book "Zikr-e-Khair", he has written wonderful sketches on various famous Urdu literature. This book includes sketches on more than fifteen (15) prominent literary figures./یوسف ناظم (پیدائش 7/نومبر 1921 ، وفات 23/جولائی 2009) اردو ادب میں طنز و مزاح کے معروف و مقبول نثرنگار تھے۔ غزلوں اور نظموں کے ذریعے انہوں نے اپنی ادبی زندگی کی شروعات کی تھی تاہم 1944ء سے ان کی تحاریر طنز و مزاح کے میدان کے لیے مختص ہو گئیں۔ انہوں نے سینکڑوں طنزیہ انشائیے، مختصر انشائیے اور افسانے لکھے جو تیس سے زائد کتابوں میں یکجا کیے گئے۔ ان کتب میں کیف و کم، فُٹ نوٹ، البتہ، فقط، ورنہ اور منجملہ کافی مقبول ہوئے۔ طنز و مزاح پر مبنی ان کے کالم روزنامہ سیاست، انقلاب، اردو ٹائمز، ہفتہ وار بلٹز اور دیگر روزناموں کے علاوہ ماہنامہ شگوفہ (حیدرآباد) میں بھی بہ پابندی شائع ہوتے رہے۔ مختلف مشاہیر اردو ادب پر ان کے شگفتہ خاکے "ذکرِ خیر" کے زیرعنوان کتاب کے ذریعے منظر عام پر آئے۔ اس کتاب میں پندرہ (15) سے زائد ممتاز ادبی شخصیات پر خاکے شامل ہیں۔
