Gabriela Cerruti
(Punta Alta, 1965) is a journalist, writer, and teacher. She was a reporter, columnist, and editor at the newspaper Página/12, founded and directed the weekly Trespuntos where she conducted a historic interview with the genocidaire Alfredo Astiz, and collaborated with numerous national and international media. She completed her postgraduate studies at the University of Westminster (United Kingdom) and teaches at the School of Journalism of the National University of La Plata.
Among her books, in addition to El Jefe, notable works include El Pibe: business, intrigues, and secrets of Mauricio Macri, the man who wants to be president; Big Macri, a research that portrayed the government of Mauricio Macri; Heirs of Silence, Living Well in the City, and The Revolution of the Old. She is currently a National Deputy for the Frente de Todos, was the executive director of the Provincial Commission for Memory (province of Buenos Aires), minister of Human and Social Rights in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, and a city legislator. Her feminist commitment included the debate on the Legal Abortion Law, and her voice stands out in the debate on ageism, the regularization of cannabis, and the climate emergency.
