Hayao Miyazaki
(Tokyo 1941) Director of animated film, animator, illustrator, entrepreneur, mangaka, and Japanese anime producer, internationally renowned and with a career spanning five decades. Together with Isao Takahata, he founded Studio Ghibli, a film and animation studio. His unique style is composed of the repetition of themes, characters with great psychological depth, absence of evil characters, and an endless array of particularities that make him unique. He is one of the greatest authors in the history of animation.
