Hugo Alconada Mon
Assistant Editor, Lawyer from the National University of La Plata, Argentina; Master in Liberal Arts from the University of Navarra, Spain, and Visiting Scholar at the University of Missouri-Columbia, USA. Fellow of Stanford University, the Eisenhower Program, and the United Nations (UN). Between 1999 and 2001, he worked for the newspaper El Día, in La Plata (Argentina). In 2002, he joined the newspaper La Nación, and between 2005 and 2009 was its correspondent in the United States. His articles and reports have been published in media in the United States, Germany, Spain, and a dozen other countries. Teacher at the Gabriel García Márquez Foundation for New Ibero-American Journalism (FNPI) and professor of postgraduate courses at Columbia University. Since 2017, he has been a columnist for the New York Times in Spanish.
