Lala Pasquinelli
María Laura Pasquinelli, known as Lala Pasquinelli (La Emilia, Buenos Aires, 1976), is an Argentine visual artist, feminist activist, lawyer, and communicator. Founder of the project "Mujeres que no fueron tapa" in 2015, she seeks to make visible and question the representation of women in the media.
In 2019 and 2022, she received the Lola Mora Award for Non-Sexist Communication. In 2023, the BBC included her in its list of the 100 most influential women in the world. Her work spans visual art and activism, focusing on transforming perspectives and social environments.
