Marie Kondo
Marie Kondo (Tokyo, Japan, October 9, 1984) is a renowned organizing consultant, author, and Japanese television presenter. Famous for creating the KonMari Method, she revolutionized home organization with her philosophy of keeping only what “sparks joy”. Her most influential book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up (2011), has sold over 14 million copies and has been translated into 44 languages. Kondo gained international fame thanks to the Netflix series Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, nominated for two Emmy Awards. She was included in Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2015 and continues to inspire millions through her books, shows, and the development of her global brand.
