Pablo Larrañaga
Pablo Larrañaga Monjaraz is a Mexican jurist and academic specialized in legal theory and legal philosophy. He holds a Law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), has an LLM from the European Academy of Legal Theory, and earned his PhD in Law from the University of Alicante. He currently serves as a professor of Theory and Philosophy of Law at the Centro Universitario San Pablo (Elche) and at the University of Alicante, Spain.
His most notable work is The Concept of Responsibility (2000), published by Editorial Fontamara. This book, derived from his doctoral thesis supervised by Professor Manuel Atienza, offers a deep analysis of the various definitions of "responsibility" as a fundamental legal concept, exploring its relationship with other normative notions such as duty, wrongdoing, and sanction.
